We cannot imagine how difficult it must be when families are struck with a difficult medical prognosis for their little ones. Such an unexpected turn of events can put a significant toll on families’ physical, emotional, and financial well being.
For that reason, we have once again decided to support the life-saving efforts of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rhode Island. Discovering that a little one has a medical condition can be heartbreaking. As active stakeholders of our community, we know that we can offer some relief through our agency’s day-to-day operations.
The mission of the Ronald McDonald House is to provide a home away from home for families with children who are undergoing medical treatments. We believe wholeheartedly in their programs and how it positively impacts the lives of those who need it most. Many families use up their entire life’s savings to cover out-of-pocket expenses for things such as trial treatments, accommodations, and transportation. With this campaign, we hope to raise awareness and assistance to help them during this difficult time so they can focus their attention on healing.
